Multiple Exhibit Media Projects

Projections, Films, Immersive, and Interactive Experiences

Over the years, we've created many media experiences for the museum, beginning with their first theater film.   We enjoy working with the talented exhibit team at the Heinz History Center and Pittsburgh Sports Museum to create new ways to explore history.  Recent projects included interesting challenges and abbreviated production timeframes:

  • Exhibit designers sought our expertise to quickly develop an immersive presentation about an immigrant family's struggles at the turn-of-the-century, using a 3 screen and 3 projector configuration.
  • With a new exhibit opening in only two weeks, the museum wanted to tell the complex financial story of the Pittsburgh Penguins rescue from bankruptcy.  The creative solution was to use a fun “play-by-play” approach and light-hearted animation to unfold the economic story in a way that is entertaining and hits key interpretive points for the visitor.
  • Many people don’t think of ballet dancers as athletes.  We created a new video for the Sports Museum that illustrates the strength and training that is required for the dancers of Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.
  • One of the highlights of the museum is the Clash of Empires exhibit about the French & Indian War.  We produced an exhibit introductory film that later had a special screening at the U.S. Capitol and was exhibited at Smithsonian Institution.
