Great Sand Dunes National Park

Great Sand Dunes National Park is both a unique landscape in central Colorado and a designated dark sky park with stunning views of the Milky Way on a clear night.  Our team spent two seasons in freezing desert temperatures to capture spectacular views of the night sky for an exhibit film.  In addition, five soundscapes immerse visitors in a diorama of the park’s diverse environments, and a 3D animation created with the park’s geologist shows how the dunes were formed over thousands of years.
