Over the years, we've created interactives and other media for the Carnegie Science Center, but this film is the biggest!  Pittsburgh comes alive in this 10-minute action-packed 70mm OMNIMAX film.  Pittsburgh’s Big Picture is a visual poem that captures the city’s stunning visual beauty, rich ethnic and cultural heritage, and spectacular natural resources.

Custom camera mounts were created for the huge IMAX camera to capture unique perspectives such as the driver’s seat of a high-speed formula 1 race boat, the breathtaking height of the Pitfall theme park ride, and a closeup of a molten cauldron of steel.  Did you catch the cameo by our favorite neighbor, Mr. Rogers?
