Enduring Legacy
Visitor Center Interpretive Film
A young John Adams cuts reeds in a salt marsh. John Quincy plants peach stones in his wife’s glass bowls to see their roots grow. In his family’s Stone Library, Charles Francis edits the letters of his grandparents. These glimpses into the life of the Adams Family are told in Henry Adams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning autobiography The Education of Henry Adams. Our unique challenge was how to weave together a story encompassing four generations and their lasting influence on 200 years of American History...in 20 minutes!
This cinematic visitor center film features an all-star cast who provide the voices of the incredible Adams Family: Tom Hanks, Laura Linney, Paul Giamatti, Edward James Olmos, and Edward Herrmann.
